Joshua Michael Gibson

Joshua Michael Gibson is an actor, writer, director, improvisor, sketch comic, gadabout, Shakespearean drunk, dodgeball player, social activist, pun-fashioner, unliscensed estuary therapist, Cyril Figgis cosplayer, stage manager, pedant, quotation dictionary, and nerd.

After graduating from Northwestern University, Joshua flew west to Los Angeles to escape chilly Chicago winters and found home studying with Stuart Rogers at the award-winning Stuart Rogers Studios, where he also was stage manager for four seasons of their theatrical productions, including the award-winning production of Paula Vogel's "The Long Christmas Ride Home", and the Los Angeles premiere of Martin McDonagh's "A Skull in Connemara".  He augmented studies there by studying improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater while freelancing as a technical consultant for studios such as Fox and Sony Pictures.

Joshua has recently moved back east to New York City which proved that nothing missed him so much as the cold, when he arrived at JFK on the day of the infamous Polar Vortex of 2014.  Since then, Joshua has been going to EPAs during his lunch breaks while studying at The People's Improv Theater in the evenings.

Joshua was once told that his spirit animal is a Llama.  He doesn't know what that means, but he likes it.
